Wrist Locks
(you can also see points on the head, body, back and locks to the head, arms, and legs)
The following wrist locks make up some of the wristlocks you may need to know - recommended situations to demonstrate the wrist locks are mentioned in brackets. (This is by no means a complete list of wristlocks and they can also be applied from many other situations and attacks)
This is given for information purposes - you should not try to put a wristlock on someone unless you know what you are doing - you could break their wrists! Apply wristlocks SLOWLY and release as soon as the person you are training with tap's to let you know its worked.

Make sure you keep their hand pinned nice and close to your
stomach and then step through with your inside leg. (From someone trying to grab
your lapel/t-shirt/punch you in the chest)

Try to keep their arm straight while doing this wrist lock.
(From someone trying to stab you in the kidneys)
3.
Keep their wrist nice and close to your chest and don't
forget to bend their elbow if needs be. (From someone grabbing your
lapel/t-shirt from the front with both hands, maybe to head butt you)
4.
Make sure you tuck their elbow into your chest and keep
your arms tightly pressed against their arm so their elbow can't escape.
(From a broken bottle to the face)
5.
The end of this wristlock, as well as turning their wrist in
towards them you can raise it upwards as well. (From a same sided grab to your
hand/wrist)
6.
Don't let their arm bend, go for the arm lock whilst
pushing on the wrist as a bonus.
(Old number 5)
I like this wristlock, have used it a few times.
From a same sided grab, reach underneath, take their hand and twist it back the
way your hand came from whilst pulling away from them.
